This old dog needs new tricks

Hey folks..some days you just get really tired of it all. Gidi traffic even on  a weekend is enough to make any person filled with that joey barton-like attitude. You want to kick-out,you want to Snarl, maybe even bite (*cough*)..and as if that bit of frustration behind the wheel isn't enough, you get home& stretch out on your sofa, remote control  in hand ready to hit Skysports News in the hope of any kind of new development..And what do you get? The discouraging soundbites from a very coy Wenger displaying his old transfer window routine like a washed up Circus act in need of fresh ideas. If only he knows how irritating some of his comments regarding transfers are.Especially that infamous "We aren't close to signing anyone" Ok, before anyone even starts to say Hang-on K.C, are you expecting him to throw his aces on the table for all to see? No i'm not. But for the Love of all things good, surely he can come up with something other than that overused, worn out and evasive stuff he churns out. He  is aware the fans are pinning for new signings and are dying to hear something. On the other hand he also knows he cannot disclose any concrete details for fear of jeopardizing our bargaining position. its Quite the dilemma and i get that, but still can he not say anything but that "we aren't close to signing anyone"? It really does my head in.

Being economical  with funds is fine but being so with the truth, especially while sitting on gunpowder like he is right now, am not so sure. The fans are restive, why not  take the chance and calm frayed nerves for pete's sake..yeah he's the manager of Arsenal not Arsenal fans blah blah blah. But take a guy like Harry Redknapp,he is often made fun of by everyone with respect to his famous behind the wheels interviews on transfer targets. But matter of fact that is the singular thing about ol' Harry i like most.Always Frank and not giving a shit..as far as i know it never stopped him from getting his targets.i wish Arsene was a teeny bit like that sometimes. Rant over! I need a glass of Jd
