Quash the bogey team myth

So we face our so called arch nemesis Swansea in the league today.. A win will quickly vanish the debacle of Tuesday in a heartbeat.. Anything other than that? well the media will dust their "Arsenal in crisis" drafts and resume Thier annual boffunnery.. CHELSEA are already having their justifiable share of that media heat & I'll like to keep it that way..

Losing Walcott& the Ox on Tuesday was a blow to us.. RAMSEY is one of our hardest working players in the squad & losing him to injury was a big enuff setback as it is. Wenger has to come up with a formula that won't be stifling to our regular attacking flow. Campbell looks set to be given the nod to start.... But his performance has been to be honest underwhelming in an arsenal shirt.. A few of us who believe In this guy are up in arms as to why his little cameos have been  quite no no.. He scores for his country regularly and shows his quality but you get the feeling that in our colours he looks lost.. Well he has that chance today to stake a claim on this arsenal side.. And  I hope he does.. All other regulars will be back save theo & OX..

What we need to do on a tactical front is to play a tight counter attacking game plan.. Cos the home team will come at us..Last season the lack of proper central defensive understanding between Per mertasaker &Monreal led to mistakes that were punished but with Koscielny & Gabriel.. They will be in for a tough time..

Danger men for swansea:Dede Ayew,  Bafetimbi Gomis & Siggurdsson will need to be watched by our defence.. Siggurdsson must not be given the joy of replicating last seasons numbing late free kick heroics.. His set-peice ability is not in question as he proved against Aston villa.. They have been on an indifferent form of late and I think if we haven't allowed the Capital one ouster infect us.. We should ensure the continuation of Thier poor form..

Right back down to earth with a stinker from hell..

The moment we lost the OX and Theo resulting from strange muscular injuries, if you are not one of those given to blind optimism  that we can sweep anyone aside simply because we are Arsenal, the alarm bells should have sounded then. We were simply blunted from an attacking point of view especially considering we had no one on the bench capable of coming in and providing any attacking verve. Noteworthy that our only chance in any high light reel you watch on tv came from the head of  Mertasaker.

Look The Capital one cup was a trophy i wanted for some reason i cant say. Perhaps the thought of celebrating a trophy mid-season seemed attractive to me to help strengthen team belief but that's gone now..

I believe we must not use this game as anything other than a lesson on how teams as good as us can have just another Bad day in the office like any team. oh and No it hasn't made Gibbs , Chambers or Debuchy shit but it does go some way to show that our backups need to mentally challenge themselves to be ready to step in and do a job when called upon..The goals we conceded were rather cheap..but ill just leave it at that. Focus must shift to regaining 3 points vs Swansea as defeat there would be the real trouble starter..doubts and all might creep in and from there its always a continuous down-ward spiral hard to dig oneself out of.

So fingers crossed the chaps that fluffed their lines last night would have been given thier detentions and told to get their notepads ready to watch how the first-teamers take care of business..While we wait for good news on Walcott and OX

Nothing has been acheived yet..but we are definitely looking good

Brilliant win again last weekend..and that was not easy one bit. After putting a team like Bayern to the sword and then coming up with the tenacity to defeat a well rested battling team like Everton you deserve all the praise you can get..

In Giroud we have a striker reborn and in Ozil.. A genius enjoying school again. A win  against Sheffield will be wonderful..For some reason, its a trophy i want badly..that carling cup ..so fingers crossed.
