Match preview: Arsenal vs Fenerbache (Perhaps a Run out for the Young guns)
Hi folks, A very quick round-up today. So this evening we will be filing out to complete the humiliation of the Turkish side Fernabache, as we look to close out the job we began in Turkey. The team should be on a mini-high following emphatic wins last week. The feel good factor from our pre-season that Aston Villa succeeded in spoiling for a while would have returned a bit. In addition, the guys must have watched the dour episode on show at Old Trafford last night between Chelsea and United and wouldn't have seen anything special to be worried about on the basis of what was on show. Arsene says he won't rotate, but i suspect there'll be some measure of changes. This is an opportunity that doesn't come around that often that gives us the chance to field youngsters on a big stage to enable them get experience. So maybe i'm half wishing, but it won't be bad to see Eisfeld, Gnabry and Zelalem again do their stuff on the big stage. I completely understand the need for caution, but in fairness i believe we are already through to the group stages. Fernabache are all but buried, and they know it and listen, if they had a choice they'd have preferred not to make this trip. So lets hope we field a balanced, team that will get the job done. I will personally be looking out for Podolski also. Wenger will want to build on his form on saturday, so here's hoping it goes well again for the smiling German. Tonight's result is critical for our season and who knows, maybe potential additions to the squad before the window closes. So fingers crossed no unpleasant surprises from our Turkish Friends, and we qualify. Back tomorrow with a review.
